Overview

Nelson Mu is a highly experienced town planner with over 27 years of planning expertise in the NSW Planning system. He holds a Bachelor of Town Planning Degree from the University of NSW and has extensive experience in both Development Assessment and Strategic Planning, with a primary focus on the former. He is now the director of Fineline Planning & Design firm based in Sydney and has extensive Local Government experience, having worked in a number of Sydney Metropolitan Councils, including Liverpool, Fairfield, and Cumberland.

Town Planning Experience

Throughout his career, Nelson has managed a wide range of projects, including residential developments (boarding houses, seniors housing, high-rise buildings), as well as industrial and commercial projects. He played a key role in creating Development Control Plans (DCPs) for several Councils and has significant experience representing clients/Councils as a Planning Expert in Land and Environment Court proceedings.
